Welcome to BeBright Pre School

At BeBright, we believe the early years are a truly special time. These are the moments when children build the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and curiosity.
We’re a term time preschool in Spalding offering a warm, inclusive setting where every child feels safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Whether your little one is exploring our outdoor learning spaces, joining in with messy play, or simply enjoying a cosy story, we’re here to guide them every step of the way.

Our team is full of kind hearts, big smiles, and years of experience. We also work closely with families, valuing your voice and creating a real sense of community.

Choosing BeBright means joining a preschool that’s SEND friendly, teacher-led, and always focused on what’s best for your child.
A Note from Our Founder

Hello, I’m Stephanie Barrett, the founder of BeBright Pre School.

After many years working in early years education, including teaching roles, I wanted to create something a little different. A place where children were not boxed into milestones, but encouraged to grow in their own way, led by their interests and supported with care.

In 2018, BeBright opened its doors. Since then, alongside my brilliant team, we have stayed true to those roots as a teacher led, term time only pre school with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, outdoor learning for toddlers, and genuine partnership with families.
Looking to the future.

As BeBright continues to grow, I will be taking a new direction in my own career from May 2026 as an Early Years Ofsted Inspector.
While I will no longer be part of the day to day life of the pre school, I leave knowing the team will continue to carry forward the passion, values, and vision that BeBright was built on, providing a warm, nurturing, and high quality early years education for every child.

As I step into this new chapter, I am delighted to introduce Amelia Thomas, who will be taking on the role of director and leading BeBright forward with the same care, commitment, and child centred approach that families know and trust.
Our Vision
We believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated. At BeBright, difference is welcomed. Our setting is built on inclusion, flexibility, and strong relationships.

We support children to build confidence, find their voice, and grow into who they’re meant to be, at their own pace and in their own way.

Our Mission
We’re here to offer more than childcare. BeBright is a nurturing space for learning, connection, and belonging. With a curriculum based on real experiences, emotional safety, and SEND-friendly support, we focus on the whole child not just academic goals.

We work hand-in-hand with parents and carers, giving you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support your child both at home and here with us.
Curriculum Focus Areas
Learning Through Play
Children learn best through hands-on fun. From outdoor exploration to imaginative play, we make learning joyful and meaningful.
Independence and Growth
We encourage every child to develop at their own pace, building resilience, confidence, and the tools for lifelong learning.
Curiosity and Wonder
Children are natural explorers. We feed that spark with sensory-rich play, outdoor discovery, and moments of awe every day.
Nurture and Belonging
We’re a small setting with a big heart. Every child is loved, supported, and made to feel part of the BeBright family.
Celebrating Diversity
Our community is one of kindness and respect. We help children learn about themselves and the world around them in a positive, inclusive way.
Working Together
Families are our biggest partners. We listen, share, and support each other—because together, we help children shine.
Meet the Team
Our experienced team is at the heart of BeBright, creating a safe, nurturing space where every child feels at home and supported to learn, grow, and thrive.
